During a decade of ups and downs, the Symposium has gradually embarked on a "classic, unique, and integrated" development path. It has gradually become an international and professional ceramic symposium which showcases ceramic works, promotes communication on ceramic culture, and organizes research and training activities in Changchun City and even Jilin Province. It has become an important characteristic platform for exchanges and cooperation between Changchun City, Jilin Province and the world.
Affected by COVID-19, many overseas ceramists could not attend the Symposium in person. However, with the strong support of the International Academy of Ceramics and the efforts of ceramists around the world, a total of 154 works by 51 artists from 22 countries were mailed to the Symposium and finally shown to the audience as scheduled.
