The 9th China Changchun International Ceramics Symposium, Lianhua Mountain Ceramic Works Tour Exhibition (the third stop) will be held from December 8, 2020 to January 7, 2021 at the warehouse No,17, Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park.

Changchun Water Culture Ecological Park is an abandoned industrial site (the former Nanling waterworks) from the Japanese puppet regime. It is located on the bustling Yatai Street in the urban area, covering an area of 350,000 square meters. It is a scenic garden opens to the public. The park is divided into historical area, cultural expo area, urban vitality carnival, art and culture center, etc. It is also known as the ‘798’ (a famous art center in Beijing), in Northeast China, which attracts ceramic art lovers to visit and appreciate works every day.

The work on display, a total of 130 pieces (groups), are divided into two exhibition areas on the ground floor and first floor. The ground floor area focuses on the latest works created in 2020 (the 9th Ceramics Symposium) and the first-floor area focuses on classic works from previous year. This is the third stop of this tour and the first two stops of the touring exhibition have been held at the Lianhua Mountain Ecological Tourism Resort (Tiandingshan) and the Changchun International Ceramic Art museum. These works, in terms of ideology, content, expression and theme, express the pursuit of truth, goodness beauty and positive mainstream spirit of mankind. They express ceramists’ understanding and knowledge of current common concerns such as peace, development, ecology, environment, etc. They can be categorized into various creation styles and methods, such as figurative, abstract, classical, modern, realistic, exaggerations, ideal, romantic, etc.

Although it is now winter and the weather is freezing, there are number of visitors who would still come and appreciate the works in the exhibition. They said the exhibition delivered to their doorstep should not be missed. Finally, when you walk into the exhibition site, we wish the wonder and the enlightenment of works will blow your mind.
