Cao Chunsheng, a native of Duchang, Jiangxi Province, is a Doctor of Arts. He serves as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Jingdezhen Ceramic University. He is a leading figure among young and middle-aged scholars in Jiangxi Province, the Director of the Sculpture Institute at Jingdezhen Ceramic University, the President of the Jingdezhen City Sculpture Association, and the Dean of the Jingdezhen Sculpture Institute. He is a member of the China Artists Association, a director of the China Sculpture Institute, an executive member of the Sculpture Art Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Association, and a holder of the National Urban Sculpture Construction Design Qualification Certificate.


Cao Chunsheng's works have been recognized through a series of prestigious awards and events, highlighting his remarkable journey in the arts: In 1984, he received the Excellence Award at the 8th Jiangxi Art Exhibition. In 1994, he won the first prize in the Jiangxi News Fine Arts Works Evaluation. In 1995, he participated in the International Gaoling Ceramic Art Seminar. In 1998, his works were selected for the China-Korea Ceramic Art Exchange Exhibition. In 1994, he was featured in a special review by the Fine Arts Newspaper. In 1998, he was introduced in a "Sculptor Special Edition" by the authoritative magazine Sculpture. In 1991, he participated in the Chinese Ceramics Exhibition held in Japan. In 1999, his works were exhibited in Paris, crossing the ocean to reach an international audience. In 2000, he participated in the China Sculpture Forum. In 2002, he took part in the Beijing International Urban Sculpture Art Exhibition in China. These milestones reflect the significant achievements and the distinguished path of Cao Chunsheng's artistic career.
