Celadon Pot with Lotus-Leaf-Shaped Lid
The artwork employs the traditional porcelain-making techniques of Longquan Kiln, achieving a high level of craftsmanship in the body, shaping, and glazing. The body of the pot is plump, and its design showcases smooth and robust lines. The curved rim of the lid resembles a lotus leaf, making it unique and lively. The lid’s center rises with a melon stem-shaped knob, and the edge undulates in a lotus leaf curl, enhancing both its practicality and artistic expression. The celadon glaze is soft and elegant, clean, and lustrous, resembling the gentle warmth of jade. The glaze layer is thick, translucent, and slightly bluish, presenting a special aesthetic. The artwork takes the shape of a lotus leaf, symbolizing vitality and energy, while the use of celadon reflects the elegance and charm of traditional Chinese ceramics.
